On My Mind ... Pajama Party

Hello, November it's so nice to see your cold weather again! As temperatures drop (you know to the 30's and 20's), there is nothing cozier than sleeping in beautiful pajama sets. I just can't get enough of them. I used to defer to the college uniform of a T-shirt and sweats until Patty saw me. She took one look at me and gasped. At the time, I had a boyfriend and her actual response to me was, "I'd rather you go to bed naked then look like that in front of your guy." Did your jaw drop? Ya, mine did too. Regardless, I have embraced PJ sets with open arms!

On My Mind ... Celine. Not Dion.

I have been told (by Patty, nonetheless) that I have expensive taste. We usually walk into the store, divide to conquer, and when we meet back up, I will ALWAYS be holding a full priced item while Patty is holding a 50% plus additional 20% off item. Every. Single. Time. I thought for sure that by the time I hit 25 I'd be able to by myself anything I wanted... Well, I'm 26 and am literally watching my nonexistent money deplete (thank you very much, school loans). Therefore, I've been trying to be much more conscious of my money spending ways. This sometimes includes waiting weeks for my beloved - insert item here - to go on sale or scavenger for a more affordable option. Thus is the case with the Celine Phantom Bag. You've probably seen it around, even if you don't know it. It's big, beautiful, and luxurious. It also costs about 3 times my rent. Since I'll just have to wait until I: a. graduate, b. do my fieldwork hours, c. pass my license exam, d. get a job, and e. work for a few years before I can get it, I've started looking for other options.

On my mind ... Last Minute Summer Buys

I know I should start focusing on the upcoming fall season but I just can't. I'm not ready to say goodbye to long summer days and shorts weather. To help ease the pain, I'm thinking of finally purchasing some things I've been eyeing all summer.

On my mind ... One Piece Bathing Suits

Not to keep bringing up the cape but I have to say, I was loving all of my friend Maren's one pieces. The only ones I own are from my high school diving days and they are NOT the most attractive. After seeing Maren in all her cute ones I think it may be time to switch it up! Here are some that I am loving (and hoping they go on sale soon!)
